January 2001 January 4, 2001 - Thursday Khiori is having a bit of uncoordination. Not too bad. Just a bit of stumbling. Wondering if this is a sign of things to come. Started KBr tonight. 1.2 cc's (300mg) BID. Sean squirted it in her mouth. Gave 1/2 mini bagel to ward off the nausea. Pb given first. January 7, 2001 - Sunday Khiori seems to have adjusted to the new Pb level. No adverse reaction to KBr yet. Very restless today. Wants outside, food, play, etc. Unsettled. January 8, 2001 - Monday 9am: Gave meds. 9:12-9:15am : GM. Vocalization, paddling. Pretty bad. One of the worst we've seen so far. 9:15am : Had a very hard time coordinating herself to stand or walk. Partial seizures. Give 10mg diazepam. Post ictal includes wandering behavior. January 15, 2001 - Monday 8:29am - 8:31am : GM Violent. Severe paddling, steady constant vocalization. Toward the end stiffened her body, legs and head (mouth agape) No post ictal - recovered almost immediately. Whoa. Gave her morning meds immediately after seizure.
